Fàilte! (Welcome!)...to the Magic of Castles, Clans and Celidhs

Whether found in myths, legends, or historical tales, there is nothing as romantic and awe-inspiring as a castle. Come celebrate the culture of Scotland with a special focus on its magnificent castles and the people who inhabited them. We welcome you to our new location in Hall A! ...or is that Castle A?...

We invite you to wander through our displays, check out the Scottish wares of our vendors, and let the wee bairns [children] enjoy a turn at fitba [football or soccer] and curling, or the craft corner. For the adventurous, an airbrushed celtic knot tattoo might be just the ticket!

When you're feeling hungry, the Swee & Spurtle offers Scotland's signature foods, from haggis and neeps casserole, to toffee and shortbread. Thirsty? You can wet your whistle and toast friends old and new with our fine selection of scotch, Scottish beer on tap, or our special shooter.

Our non-stop entertainment includes favourites like Back of the Bus, Glenlily Highland Dancers, the Scottish Breeds Dog Show, and Pipes and Drums galore, along with new groups that are sure to become favourites: Prairie Thunder, a vocal treat, and a Scottish-style fiddling and step-dancing group from the East Coast - your toes are sure to be tapping! Back by popular demand is the "Best Legs in a Kilt" competition. Show off your legs to win prizes, or cheer on your preferred competitor! Each evening culminates in the spectacular Massed Bands finale, with the eerie magic of the Lone Piper building to the excitement of the entrance march of the pipe bands, accompanied by Highland dancers of all ages.
