MANY FACES: One Nation, One Spirit

Who are the Filipinos? Find the elusive answer by visiting the  Philippines Pavilion. Coming from various regions and  ethnic tribes, speaking more than 87 dialects, the people of the far-flung 7,107 islands of the Philippines is represented under one roof, and united under one name: the Filipinos.

The featured entertainment, Kumintang Folk Ensemble  will present a repertoire of folk dances from the rugged northern mountains of the Cordilleras, the plains of Luzon, islands of the Visayas, and the south seas of Mindanao. The group will showcase the nation's rich history and unique cultural heritage through its costumes, customs, music, and ethnic instrumentation.

The pavilion's selected culinary offerings: BBQ lean meat, adobo, pansit or noodles, lumpia or egg rolls, fried rice, and various merienda or snacks reflect the deliciously evolved food influenced by ancient and modern civilizations.

Delight in the sound, the colors, the sights, the taste. Do not forget to take home a souvenir from the Philippines from our dry goods stores. Have your photo taken at our photo booth, take home an instant print — proof of having been virtually at the land called "Pearl of the Orient seas". Do not forget to say Mabuhay — Long Live!
