Sensational attractions such as Capoeira Camara will bring the beat of Brazil’s uniquely sovereign Afro-Brazilian Martial Art Dance as well as Maculele. Havana Cuban Dance Studio sizzles on stage making the Latin connection with world renowned Salsa and more. Saskatoon’s own local Latin favourites Del Mundo Dance Academy will showcase dance styles such as the Afro-Brazilian Afoxe, the exotic Amazonian Parintins dance, Raggaeton, along with Danca Do Ventre or Belly Dance. Come see this year’s featured NEW special guests, Khan El Khalili, Saskatoon’s SalsaZoneKidz, Estrelas de Samba, Sabor Latino & Sambalicious, performing the uniquely original heartbeat of Brazilian Carnaval - Samba, Frevo and Axe. Have fun checking out our Brazilian displays and vendors’ souvenirs. Savourour Brazilian BBQ or Churrasquinho; plus traditionally tasty Feijoada with premium black beans and beef sausage, along with cassava and vinaigrette dressing; Pao Arabe or Pita Bread, and delicious pastries such as Pastel, with meat filling; or the delicious Banana Real dessert pastry, or Sorvete – Ice cream. Don’t forget to try our specialty drinks which assorted shots or the refreshing Brazilian hard lemonade press - Caipirao (rum), Caipirosca (vodka), or Rio de Janeiro’s finest brewed beer – Brahma.
