Bangladesh Pavilioney Aapni Shagotom - Welcome to the Bangladesh pavilion!

Bangladesh (the land of  “Bangla”-speaking people) is a young nation with a rich heritage and vibrant culture. The country’s location is at the delta of three mighty rivers, the Ganges, the Brahmaputra and the Meghna; with their eventual pathways to the "Bay of Bengal” has a great influence on the daily lives of its people, folklore and music. At our pavilion, view the various life styles of Bangladeshi people, intricate handicrafts, artwork and festivals. See a historical overview of Bangladeshi students who gave their lives for their mother language – “Bangla”. Enjoy presentations on the mangrove forest of “Sundarban”- the home of the Royal Bengal Tiger, and the world’s longest beach in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladeshi indigenous communities and the ever expanding urban people, depicted through dances, fashion shows, traditional cuisines of Bangali people. Taste our delicious food “Briyani”,Shingara” (Bangalee version of samosa), "Karai murgi" (aromatic chicken curry) and varieties of "pitha"and "mishti" (sweets). Get cooled down with our "Shorbot" (flavoured yogurt shakes).

Bangladesh is at your door; come and make new friends!!!
